Researchers at the Linz Institute of Technology have developed new biogels based on a mix of environment friendly gelatin, solvents and sugars. Its unique characteristics of being elastic and flexible, yet strong enough to support installations of electronic components, offer new opportunities for the sector of the so-called “soft robotics”.
