Torino-based design studio Pocodisegno joined forces with umbrella manufacturer Ombrellificio Torinese to create a durable and easy to repair umbrella that is meant to last. They used recycled PET materials for their additive manufacturing process of the mechanical components, which are designed to be replaceable easily. The umbrella has no permanent-fixed parts and doesn’t use any glue. All parts are detachable and recyclable and even the top shield is made from recycled textiles.
