Kim Markel is a first generation American artist and designer. With Glow the artist created a collection of daily life furniture that are meant to capture that fleeting state of reverie. Each piece is handmade, using previously discarded items such as soda bottles, lunch trays, and eyeglasses mixed together with recycled resins. The softly tinted, translucent objects have a handmade feel and a glowing satin finish.
