&Tradition‘s Victor Vetterlein-designed Trash Me Lamp is created from the paper pulp of 4-paper egg cartons that are spread over a mold and left to dry. According to an article on Design-milk.com, the concept word behind the piece is “transient,” in that people’s attention and interest in things is somewhat brief. The lamp can be taken apart quickly and then recycled into something new once it is no longer desired.
