American artist and experimental guitar builder Burls Art creates guitars, crafted from unconventional materials, such as himalayan rock salt, coffee beans, pencils or skateboards. For his latest creation Burls teamed up with 4ocean in order to build a guitar out of recycled ocean plastic. The body is made of 100% recycled HDPE and PP plastic, recovered from the ocean, while the neck is maple topped with a straw (from the ocean) fretboard. On his YouTube channel you can see the entire construction process followed by a demo song/riff at the end of the video.
