Global leading hobby entertainment company Bandai Spirits aims to shift its production towards a more sustainable way and reduce their use of petroleum-based plastics. According to an article on businesswire.com Bandai Spirits aims to release new plastic models made from LIMEX, a paper and plastic-like material that is based on limestone. LIMEX can be recycled and consists of about 80% limestone and 20% polyolefin resin. LIMEX is waterproof and cannot be torn. It can replace both paper and plastic.
