Vancouver-based sustainable technology innovation company Evanesce has engineered their own technology in order to replace single-use plastics and expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam, commonly known as Styrofoam. Their patented Evanesce Molded Starch technology is engineered to deliver 100% BPI certified compostable packaging solutions made from upcycled plant by-products. Their best-in-class biopolymers can be molded into diverse packaging products, such as straws, cups, lids, cutlery and more. All products are 100% plant-based, free from PFAS and BPA, marine and soil biodegradable and decompose in 90 days or less. With a shelf life of two years, their innovative bio-based coating makes their products leakproof and heat resistant.
